Date night.

Tonight I took myself out on a date. It was a lot of fun. I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar here at IU's main auditorium. It was the traveling Broadway production and most of it was really good. They set it in modern times, which I felt pretty mixed about, but the singers in general were quite talented--particularly Jesus, Mary, and Caiaphas (who has sung at La Scala!).

Funny thing, going to this show has reminded me of the whole combination of my past boyfriends...I went to see the show for the first time with Tim, Marcus was in the show, and this one being a traveling Broadway show reminded me of Nick's traveling and doing all the backstage and sound stuff. Actually, put all of them together now with their current (or so I remember) plans, and we've got a production: Tim writes the show, Marcus acts and sings in it, and Nick takes care of all the hidden details. Scary. I need to find a businessperson...

So, other than that, my day was really relaxing. Here's the breakdown:

Highlights:

Jesus Christ Superstar was really great
Was a very short day, compared to most
Really excited about singing for Professor Effron
Hot weather is on the way
So few things left to do before break!
I only have two more Threepenny shows left
Lost cat hasn't been hanging around the past two days (that way I don't get sad for it)
The rest of the week looks pretty easy
Bet I might not go to class tomorrow...

Alas Ryan, I like hidden messages too. And of course, so does Adonis.

I think I'll finally sleep well tonight~
